Both sides assessedKeywords Everywhere compared with Mangools
Mangools is a destination you visit for a research session, with rank tracking, SERP analysis, backlinks, and AI visibility across eight engines for about $29.90 a month. Keywords Everywhere is ambient data wherever you already browse, for $84 a year. They complement each other rather than compete, and running both costs less than one Ahrefs seat.
Mangools compared with Keywords Everywhere
Keywords Everywhere is a browser extension that overlays volume and cost-per-click data wherever you already browse, on a cheap credit top-up model with no subscription. Mangools is a full research environment you go to deliberately. They are complements rather than competitors, and plenty of people run the extension for ambient data and Mangools for actual research sessions.

| Setup time | Five minutes. Install the extension for Chrome, Edge, or Firefox, paste in your API key, and the overlay starts working on the next page you load. Rank tracking needs a domain, a keyword list, and a location, which takes about ten minutes per site. |
| Learning curve | Effectively none. The tool teaches itself by appearing where you already work, which is the main reason it has more than a million and a half installs despite being a paid product. | The lowest in the category by a wide margin. Mangools is deliberately built so that someone with no SEO training can look at a KWFinder result and understand what to do next, and that design intent is visible in every screen. |

Strengths and limitations
Keywords Everywhere
Strengths
- The overlay model removes the context switch entirely, which in practice means keyword research actually happens rather than being deferred to a session that never occurs.
- Coverage across more than 20 sites including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, YouTube, and Pinterest, where mainstream SEO tools have little or no data.
- Seat allowances of 1, 3, 10, and 20 across four tiers costing $84 to $1,440 per year, against $40 to $80 per additional seat per month at Ahrefs.
- Credit metering is completely literal at one credit per keyword, with no charges for viewing reports or applying filters.
Limitations
- It is an overlay, not a platform. No site audit, no rank tracking, no projects, no reporting, and no client deliverables of any kind.
- No AI answer visibility tracking. AI Overview presence metrics and prompt templates are useful, but they do not tell you whether ChatGPT or Perplexity cites your brand.
- Annual billing only, so even the cheap entry tier requires paying twelve months up front.
- Volume data is best treated as relative rather than precise, and link metrics come from Moz rather than a proprietary index, so this is not a source for a disputed competitive analysis.
Mangools
Strengths
- By far the best interface in the category. The tools are fast, legible, and usable by someone who does not do SEO for a living, which is the single most underrated feature in this market.
- AI Search Watcher covers eight AI systems including ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Mistral, and Llama, included in the subscription rather than sold as an add-on.
- Running each AI prompt multiple times is a genuine methodological improvement over competitors that check once and report a number.
- Daily lookup limits that reset every 24 hours are far less punishing than monthly credit systems that can lock you out mid-project.
Limitations
- No site audit or crawler of any kind, which is a significant gap for anyone responsible for technical SEO.
- The LinkMiner backlink index is much smaller than Ahrefs, Semrush, or Moz, and is suitable for prospecting rather than for competitive analysis you need to defend.
- Rank tracking is weekly on Basic and Premium; daily updates require the Agency plan at three times the entry price.
- Reporting is basic, with no white-label output or client portal, so agencies delivering monthly reports will need something else.
Pricing compared
Keywords Everywhere
Annual subscriptions bundling a yearly credit allowance and a seat count, metered at one credit per keyword for paid metrics, with a substantial set of features that consume no credits at all.
- Bronze$84
- Silver$168
- Gold$480
- Platinum$1,440
Per dollar, this is the cheapest useful search data on the market, and the seat allowance makes it look almost like a mistake. Bronze at $84 a year for 100,000 keyword lookups works out to under a tenth of a cent per keyword; Gold at $480 gives ten people two million lookups between them, which is roughly what one additional Ahrefs seat costs over eight months. The reason it can be this cheap is that it is not a platform: no crawler, no rank tracker, no projects, no reporting, no proprietary link index. What it sells is ambient access to demand data in the places you already work, and it sells it without the metering anxiety that makes larger tools unpleasant. For a solo operator or a small team, it is close to a default purchase alongside whatever else you use.
Mangools
Three-tier bundle subscription covering all six tools, metered on daily lookups that reset every 24 hours rather than on monthly credits, with seats included on the top tier.
- BasicAbout $29.90
- PremiumAbout $44.90
- AgencyAbout $89.90
Mangools is the best low-budget purchase in this category and it is not particularly close. Basic at about $29.90 per month annually gives you keyword research, SERP analysis, rank tracking, backlink prospecting, domain analysis, and AI visibility monitoring across eight engines, which is more coverage per dollar than anything else on the market. The honest limits are real: no site crawler, weekly rank tracking below Agency, a backlink index that is fine for prospecting and inadequate for adjudication, and reporting that will not satisfy a client. But the question for a small business is rarely whether Mangools is as good as Ahrefs. It is whether the extra $200 per month buys anything you will actually use, and for most people publishing content on one or two sites the answer is no.
Editorial verdict on each
Keywords Everywhere
Keywords Everywhere is a small tool that solves a real problem, which is that keyword research does not happen if you have to go somewhere to do it. Putting search volume, cost per click, and twelve-month trends onto Google, YouTube, Amazon, Etsy, Search Console, and ChatGPT as you browse turns research from a task into a background fact, and at $84 per year for 100,000 lookups the cost is close to irrelevant. The seat allowances make it stranger still: three people for $168 a year, ten for $480, against $40 to $80 per additional seat per month at the big suites. The 2026 MCP integration, which lets AI assistants query live keyword data rather than inventing it, is genuinely ahead of what a tool this cheap ought to ship. Understand what it is not: no crawler, no tracker, no reporting, and no AI citation tracking despite the AI branding. Buy it as a permanent companion to whatever else you run, not as a replacement for it.

Best ValueMangools is the tool to recommend to someone who needs SEO data and has neither the budget nor the appetite for a platform. It is beautifully built, genuinely fast, priced from about $29.90 per month annually, and in 2026 it quietly acquired the broadest AI engine coverage in its price bracket, tracking eight systems including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Grok with repeated prompt runs for reliability, all included rather than upsold. The gaps are real and worth stating plainly: no site crawler at all, a backlink index that is fine for prospecting and unfit for adjudication, weekly rank tracking unless you buy Agency, and reporting that will not pass as a client deliverable. If any of those matter, look at SE Ranking or Moz. If none of them do, Mangools will do more of what you actually need than a subscription costing five times as much.
