The short answer
Both sides assessedAlbacross compared with Leadfeeder
Leadfeeder has the deeper European data operation, a higher published match rate, a permanently free tier, unlimited users on every plan, and a much larger company behind it. Albacross is cheaper at the working tier and includes AI email and LinkedIn sequences that Leadfeeder does not. Take Leadfeeder if identification data quality, attribution, and vendor stability are what you are buying; take Albacross if you want identification and outbound execution in one 149 euro subscription.
Leadfeeder compared with Albacross
Albacross is the Swedish competitor and includes AI-driven email and LinkedIn outreach sequences inside the subscription from about 59 euros a month, which Leadfeeder does not. Leadfeeder has the deeper European IP data, the higher published match rate, a free tier, and far more corporate weight behind it. Choose Albacross if you want identification and outbound execution in one cheap subscription; choose Leadfeeder if data quality, attribution, and vendor stability matter more than bundled sequencing.
Choose Albacross if
European B2B small businesses that want website visitor identification and the outbound follow-up in one affordable subscription, teams without an existing sales engagement platform who do not want to buy two tools, and companies whose buyers are in EU markets where Albacross's data is strongest.
Choose Leadfeeder if
European and international B2B companies that need account-level visitor identification with genuine EU data residency, teams that want to start free and grow into a real platform rather than committing up front, and sales organisations that need contact data at identified accounts in the same subscription rather than through a second vendor.

| Setup time | Around an hour for identification and alerts: install the script, connect Slack or Teams and a CRM, and identified companies begin appearing. Configuring sequences and segmentation properly is a separate half-day and is where most of the value sits. | Under an hour for identification: install the tracker, confirm data is flowing, and connect Slack and a CRM. Building useful custom feeds and configuring CRM automations properly takes a day of thought and is where the value actually comes from. |
| Learning curve | Moderate. The identification side is straightforward, but because Albacross also runs outreach, using it well means thinking about sequence design, sending reputation, and message quality, which is a different discipline from reading a lead feed. Teams that treat the sequencer as a fire-and-forget feature get poor results and blame the data. | Moderate and rising with tier. The Lite and Discover experience is a filtered company feed anyone can use. Activate and Scale bring contact data, intent, display campaigns, and CRM automation, which is a real platform with a real learning curve, and the Scale tier's dedicated customer success manager exists for a reason. |

Strengths and limitations
Albacross
Strengths
- Identification and multichannel outreach in one subscription, with AI email and LinkedIn sequences included on every tier, which no other tool in this price bracket bundles.
- A decade of European operating history with a data operation genuinely strong in EU markets, backed by a claimed 1.7 times higher identification rate than competitors there.
- AI-powered segmentation across more than 100 intent signals does prioritisation automatically, which is exactly what a small team without an analyst needs.
- Clear GDPR and CCPA compliance from a Swedish base with company-level scope only, so the privacy conversation is short.
Limitations
- Verified email and phone credit allowances are very small relative to the identified-company limits, which makes the headline volumes misleading if you intend to actually contact people.
- API access, webhooks, Salesforce bi-directional sync, and user roles and permissions are all gated to the custom-priced, demo-gated, annual-only Organisation tier.
- Company-level only, so there is no path to identifying the individual visitor if that is what your sales motion requires.
- The 1.7 times identification claim is vendor-measured, unaudited, and framed against unnamed competitors, so it should be tested in trial rather than trusted.
Leadfeeder
Strengths
- The most generous permanent free tier in the category: 100 identified companies a month with unlimited users, which lets a business validate the whole idea at zero cost.
- Genuine EU data processing and storage under GDPR safeguards, backed by a European data operation with over 330 employees across seven countries.
- A claimed 45 percent company match rate with a daily-updated IP database, automatic bot filtering, and explicit handling of remote worker traffic.
- Contact data for decision-makers is included from the Activate tier, which removes the need for a second data vendor and closes the gap from account to person without de-anonymization.
Limitations
- Company-level only. No plan identifies the individual visitor, so if the specific person is what you need, this is structurally the wrong product.
- The features most buyers actually want sit on Activate at 369 euros a month billed annually, so the 79 euro headline substantially understates the real cost of the platform.
- The credits system meters enrichment and activation separately from identification volume, making total cost of ownership harder to predict than a single flat ladder.
- IP-to-company resolution still fails on much residential and mobile traffic despite the remote-worker handling, so the 45 percent figure is a ceiling rather than an expectation.
Pricing compared
Albacross
Tiered subscription priced on identified companies per month, with separately metered verified email and phone credits, and roughly 30 percent savings for annual billing.
- Starter59 euros
- Professional149 euros
- OrganisationCustom
Albacross is priced as identification but sold as identification plus outreach, and whether it is good value depends entirely on whether you will use the second half. At 149 euros a month, Professional covering 500 identified companies, AI segmentation across 100-plus intent signals, unlimited email and LinkedIn sequences, LinkedIn Ads audiences, and a contact finder is a lot of capability for the money, and genuinely cheaper than buying a visitor ID tool and a sequencer separately. If you already own a sequencer, you are paying for a duplicate layer and Snitcher will deliver better data terms for less. The credit allowances are the honest weak point: 25 verified emails a month on Professional is not enough to work a 500-company feed, and that gap pushes buyers toward the custom-priced Organisation tier faster than the pricing page implies.
Leadfeeder
Freemium tiered subscription with identification volume rising by tier, unlimited users on every plan, a separate credits system metering enrichment and activation actions, and roughly 30 percent savings on annual billing.
- Lite0 euros
- Discover79 euros
- Activate369 euros
- Scale599 euros
- EnterpriseCustom
Leadfeeder is two products at two very different price points and it is important not to confuse them. The free Lite tier and the 79 euro Discover plan are excellent value for pure company identification, particularly with unlimited users and genuine EU data residency, and nothing else in the category offers a permanently free tier of this quality. Activate at 369 euros a month is a different proposition: you are buying a small go-to-market platform with contact data, intent, display advertising, and CRM automation, and against dedicated point solutions for each of those it is reasonable rather than cheap. The credits meter makes the true cost harder to model than a flat ladder. Judged as an entry product it is the best value here; judged as a platform it is fairly priced and no longer a small-business purchase.
Editorial verdict on each
Albacross
Albacross is the best choice in this category for a European small business that needs both halves of the job and cannot afford two vendors. Identification with genuine EU data strength, AI segmentation across 100-plus intent signals, a contact finder, and unlimited AI email and LinkedIn sequences for 149 euros a month is a lot of working capability in one subscription, and the self-serve trial means you can test the match rate without a sales call. The problem to go in with your eyes open about is credits: 25 verified emails a month against a 500-company allowance is not a serious contacting budget, and that mismatch, along with API access and Salesforce two-way sync being locked behind a custom-priced annual tier, is how this cheap product stops being cheap. If you already own a sequencer, Snitcher will give you better data terms for less. If you want a permanently free way in, Leadfeeder has one. If you want one tool that both finds the account and starts the conversation, Albacross is the one that actually does it at this price.

Category LeaderLeadfeeder is the safe answer in this category and, for a European buyer, usually the right one. The free Lite tier is the best zero-cost entry point anyone offers, EU-only processing and company-level scope make the compliance conversation short, the IP data is the deepest in Europe, and unlimited users on every plan removes the seat tax that quietly inflates competitors' bills. It is also the vendor least likely to disappear, which matters when you are wiring something into your CRM. The catches are honest ones: the 79 euro headline is not the price of the platform most people want (that is Activate at 369 euros billed annually), the credits meter makes total cost harder to predict, it will never tell you which person visited, and the company has renamed itself twice in three years. Start on Lite, and if the free feed shows accounts worth chasing, decide deliberately whether you are buying identification (Discover, or Snitcher for better terms) or a go-to-market platform (Activate). Those are different purchases and the pricing page rather blurs the line.
