The short answer
Both sides assessedAvoma compared with Leexi
Leexi costs about the same as Avoma's Startup seat plus Conversation Intelligence module but stores data in France and captures phone and in-person conversations; Avoma goes deeper on trackers, talk-pattern analytics, and forecasting for US teams.
Leexi compared with Avoma
Avoma is US-hosted and sells its manager toolkit as modules, a $19 Startup seat plus a $29 Conversation Intelligence module, with semantic trackers, talk-pattern analytics, and forecasting that go deeper than Leexi's. Leexi's stack costs about the same at $55 and wins on data residency, VoIP breadth, and in-person capture. US teams focused on analytics should take Avoma; European teams whose buyers ask where recordings live should take Leexi.
Choose Avoma if
Sales and customer success teams between roughly 5 and 100 seats that want real methodology-based call scoring, competitor and objection tracking, and deal risk alerts, and would rather assemble those from priced modules than sign an enterprise contract to get them.
Choose Leexi if
European small and mid-sized sales and customer success teams, especially French, Belgian, Dutch, Spanish, and German-speaking ones, that want call recording across video, phone, and in-person meetings, CRM autofill, and scorecard coaching from a vendor that keeps data in Europe.

| Setup time | A day for capture, a week for the coaching layer. Calendar, conferencing, and CRM connections take under an hour; building scorecards that reflect your actual sales process and tuning trackers so they do not fire constantly is the work that takes real time. | Minutes to a first recorded meeting: sign up, connect a calendar, and Leexi joins the next call. The vendor says full setup takes under an hour. CRM and VoIP connection on Business adds an hour or two, and building good scorecards for Coach is a few days of a manager's time. |
| Learning curve | Moderate to high for admins because of the product's breadth, low for reps. The scorecard builder and tracker configuration are the two places where an unprepared buyer stalls, and using a stock MEDDICC or SPICED template as a starting point is the shortcut. | Low for reps, who mostly read summaries and approve tasks. Moderate for managers, since scorecard design and custom prompts per meeting type are where the value comes from and they need tuning against real calls. |

Strengths and limitations
Avoma
Strengths
- Real custom scorecards built on named methodologies (MEDDICC, SPICED, BANT) with automated scoring across 100 percent of calls, which is genuine coaching infrastructure rather than AI commentary.
- Smart trackers detect phrases semantically instead of by literal keyword, so competitor and churn signals surface even when a prospect uses different words.
- Full talk-pattern analytics including talk-to-listen ratio, longest monologue, filler words, and patience, compared against top performers rather than reported in isolation.
- Dialer integrations bring phone calls into the same archive as video meetings, which most competitors in this price band simply cannot do.
Limitations
- The headline $19 price is misleading as a conversation intelligence number; the coaching features that define the category cost $29 more per seat on top of a base tier.
- Seat ceilings on Startup (25) and Organization (100) create forced upgrades as you grow, and Enterprise carries a 10-seat minimum with annual billing only.
- The 14-day trial runs with all add-ons enabled, which sets expectations against a configuration most buyers will not purchase.
- No free plan at all, unlike Grain, Sybill, and Fathom, so evaluation is time-boxed rather than open-ended.
Leexi
Strengths
- Captures video meetings, phone calls from more than ten VoIP systems, and in-person meetings through a mobile app, which covers how most small European sales teams actually sell.
- Leexi Coach scores every call against custom scorecards per role and meeting type, with manual override and team dashboards.
- Data stored in Europe (France by default), ISO 27001 certified, GDPR compliant, with an annual pentest and a paid option for a French-owned cloud.
- Broad European CRM coverage, including Odoo, Sellsy, Zoho, Tribe, Koban, AdminPulse, and Attio alongside Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and Dynamics 365.
Limitations
- Coaching is an add-on, not part of any plan, so the real conversation intelligence price is $55 per seat annually rather than the $12 headline.
- The pricing page is inconsistent: the FAQ describes older plan names and minimum seat counts that do not match the plan table, and language counts differ between pages (100-plus and 120-plus).
- Starter is capped at five licenses, 20 recorded hours a month, and six months of storage, and excludes CRM, VoIP, API, and Ask Leexi.
- No free plan, only a 7-day trial, which is short for judging scorecard quality on a real pipeline.
Pricing compared
Avoma

- Startup$19
- Organization$24
- Enterprise$39
Avoma is the best unbundling in this category. The list of things it does at the top configuration reads like an enterprise revenue platform, and the entry point is $19. What you are really buying is the ability to pay for exactly the layer you need: a team that wants scorecards and trackers pays about $53 a seat, which is roughly a third of what Jiminny quotes and a small fraction of Gong. The honest counterweight is that $53 to $82 per seat is not cheap in absolute terms for a five-person team, and the base tier on its own is a note taker competing against products that cost half as much. Avoma's value is highest for the buyer who genuinely wants scorecards, trackers, deal risk, and CRM field write-back, and worst for the buyer who wanted a cheap notetaker and will end up paying module prices for features they never configure.
Leexi
Per-license subscription across three self-serve plans and a quoted Enterprise plan, with paid add-on modules for coaching, governance, and cloud hosting choice. Prices are shown excluding VAT, and annual billing saves up to 20 percent on plans and up to 30 percent on some modules.
- Starter$12
- AI-Meeting$23
- Business$39
- EnterpriseCustom
Leexi's base plans are fair notetaker pricing, and its coaching stack is mid-market for this category. At $55 per seat annually for Business plus Coach, it costs about what Demodesk charges for its EUR 49 coaching plan and a little more than Avoma's roughly $53 module stack, and well above Grain's roughly $29 coaching tier. What the money buys that others do not is the combination of VoIP call import from more than ten phone systems, a mobile app for in-person meetings, scorecards on every call, and data stored in France under ISO 27001, all from a vendor that has not taken outside funding. For a European team that sells on the phone and in person as much as on video, that combination is good value. For a US team selling only over Zoom, it is paying for a data-residency answer it does not need.
Editorial verdict on each
Avoma
Category LeaderAvoma is what happens when someone takes the Gong feature list and prices it in pieces. Custom MEDDICC scorecards, automated scoring across every call, semantic competitor trackers, patience and monologue metrics, deal risk alerts, forecasting, and CRM field write-back are all here, and a ten-person sales team can buy them with a credit card. That is a genuinely important thing to exist in this category. The catch is that the $19 headline is a note taker; the product this category is named after starts at about $53 a seat and reaches $82 with forecasting, and the seat ceilings will force a tier change as you grow. Buy Avoma if you have a sales methodology you actually intend to enforce, a manager who will build scorecards, and a CRM worth writing back to. If you just want calls recorded and clips shared, buy something cheaper and come back when you have a coaching problem worth $53 a head.

Leexi is the conversation intelligence tool to shortlist if you sell in Europe and your customers ask where recordings live. It records video calls, phone calls from more than ten VoIP systems, and in-person meetings through a mobile app. It stores everything in France under ISO 27001, and with the Coach add-on it scores every call against scorecards a manager designs. The honest price for that is $55 per seat per month on annual billing (Business plus Coach), not the $12 on the banner. That is in line with Demodesk and Avoma and nearly double Grain. The pricing page needs a careful read because its FAQ has not kept up with the plan table. Behind the product is an unusual company: a family-run Brussels business that has grown without outside money and says it turned down investors. US teams selling only on Zoom have cheaper and deeper options. European teams that sell on the phone and in person should start the 7-day trial with Coach switched on.
